The United Way of Jasper County has named Whitney Baethke as Executive Director. A Central College graduate, Whitney has gained a plethora of experience managing grant funding and leading projects during her time at Iowa Homeland Security and most recently, Mahaska Health Partnership in Oskaloosa. Whitney is an active member of the community and anticipates the opportunity to become even more intricately involved while leading UWJC.

Baethke and her husband Tyler reside in Newton with their two children, Tatum and Gabby. Tyler is the Web Manager for the Newton Community School District and coaches varsity football and track.
